Over
the years I've had many people search for me and find me on the web. If
you're trying to figure out whether you know me, here's a quick summary
of reasons we might have met. In my past I did some of the following:
- I attended Gompers Secondary Math/Science/Computer Magnet school in San Diego, CA
- I obtained a Linguistics Degree at UC Santa Cruz, graduating in the early 90's
- After
college I lived in London, England for nearly a year, through a
Work Abroad Program sponsored by BUNAC and worked at Soutbank
International School
- During
my time in England, I also traveled for two months in France, Italy,
Germany and Switzerland on a budget of $500 for two months.
- I
was the first employee of Cruzio, a Santa Cruz County Internet Service
Provider, and during my 4 years working there helped sign up over 4000
customers with Internet Service and provided customer support to 6500
customers overall.
- Taught for 2 years at Cabrillo Community College and Coordinated the Cabrillo Links Program
- Moved to Portland, OR in 2002
- Since
moving to Portland, I've worked at Portland State University as a
student employee, and at EasyStreet online services doing technical
support and working on a hosting server migration project.
- In August 2005 I started working for Technical Assistance for Community Services
(TACS) as a Technology Associatiate. My new job involves teaching
& training, technology consulting with nonprofits, email marketing,
product research on technical products that serve nonprofits, as well
as database and website work.
