B Grade

Have at least five separate pages on your site, all of a related theme or content. (at least one paragraph per page, 3 sentences per paragraph)

All six pages must validate.

Each page on your final web site must have a unique title.

Each page on your final web site should have a consistent look and have a link back to the home page for the site.

Meet all of the requirements of a C grade (with regard to images) plus the following

Publish all images for your site inside a directory called images which is inside your final directory.

Use relative addressing to reference all of your image files.

All pages of your site must have a consistent web safe color scheme, including custom colors for links, text, etc.

All pages of your site must have a consistent navigation scheme, and if graphics are used for navigation, a text only alternative should also be provided.

The HEIGHT & WIDTH attributes must be specified for each image.

Meet all the requirements of "C" grade, plus the following:

Use text and images together, using the ALIGN attribute of the IMG tag to place the image next to the text.

Use the BR tag to break a line of text in a certain place. The text should still look good even if the window is resized.

Meet all the requirements for a "C" grade, plus the following:

You must use an invisible table to control page layout with both CELLSPACING and CELLPADDING attributes specified.

You must apply a custom background color (different than the background color for the page) to a table cell.

All links must work (no broken links).

You must use any one of the following on your site:

  • An e-mail form with at least the same fields covered in the form assignment.
  • A counter
  • An imagemap
